Called and got a same day appointment with a window of 2:00-4:00. After calling to let me know he'd be about 30 minute late, the technician didn't show up around 6:00 PM. The repair was more extensive than expected and he gave me a few estimates that were significantly overpriced and presented in a confusing way. Ultimately I went with another company that did a great job and was about 1/3 the price. Update: received a call from Precision after the review and they took the feedback and seemed genuinely interested in making things right. It's possible I just got the wrong tech on the wrong day.

Good and bad. A spring on my overhead garage door opener broke. The old service place was long gone so I called these guys. First I had to listen to a recording saying they recorded all their messages--three times before I was put through to a scheduler. I asked for a next day appointment and they were able to make that happen. The tech called that morning and asked if he could come an hour earlier than the scheduled time, that was fine for me. Richard was an excellent technician, he was fast and efficient. First thing was a 15 minute safety review and a lot of notations on an IPad. Sounds good, but basically it is an opportunity to up-sell the customer with extra repairs they may not need. When I told him what repairs I needed and that was all, he did not press me. I decided before he even arrived to replace both springs because they were getting old and if one broke the other may break soon. When I received the bill I noticed a ten dollar fuel charge, for a local service call. No, that is like asking for a tip at a self service kiosk, just another charge . The bill was almost $500 for two springs, and a small pulley plus an hour's labor. Ten years ago I would have ordered them online and installed then myself.

Technician was good, knowledgeable and prompt but the price seems ridiculous. One hour and 2 springs for $1k?
