Came home on Saturday night after dinner and I had to crawl under the door which opened about a foot. One of the torsion springs had broken. Scheduled a repair for today with Precision Garage Door. The tech named Rob called and said he would arrive in about 15 minutes. Very personable, polite, and thorough with his analysis and estimates. He have everthing resolved in about 45 minutes. The torsion spring on our garage door snapped, and I called Precision Garage Door to come and undertake the repairs. I had seen their trucks in our neighborhood before this on various occasions and read reviews ahead of time (just in case I ever needed them). Suddenly I needed someone, so PGD was the first I called. Matthew Taylor was the technician and he was polite, responsive to questions, and listened. He heard me talk about how noisy the door had been before the spring snapped, and proceeded to walk me through the reasons why that could be. We ended up getting some additional parts replaced along with the springs, and I must say the end result is wonderful. The garage door seems so quiet now compared to before. So much better. Great job and thanks to Matthew for the very pleasant interaction. I actually learned a lot about the mechanics of garage doors and that always helps. I know who I am calling next time I need garage door work.
