Completely satisfied with my experience this week with precision garage doors. Apparently previous home owner reinstalled new door back in 2019, but of course didn’t do it well. The years of stress on the tube across the top with the springs and being to close to the wood frame caused it to eventually break and that tube wound up on the outside of the door. Made the apt online over the weekend for first thing Monday morning. Taylor B was on time, reviewed everything and kept me in the loop with what he found and options we could explore. He saved the door and we did not need a new motor (which was great news)… He replaced all the hardware correctly and everything is working perfectly. Thanks to Taylor

We purchased our Precision Garage Door in October 2019 and have never had a problem. All of a sudden, we could open it but it would stop 1/3 of the way down when closing. Trevor and Vito came by this afternoon, diagnosed the problem in a matter of minutes, and fixed it with a full explanation. The light that tracks objects that could block the door from closing was slightly out of alignment, and the green light was off. Now we know how to rectify this should it ever happen again. The new garage door is beautiful and I have gotten several compliments from my neighbors already! My service Tech was Taylor. I had a problem installing a keypad for my garage door. I was not successful to the point that the garage door was essentially inoperative no matter what I did. I called a number associated with Genie service and got Precision Garage Door Service. I spoke to Jenn and she was able to get an appointment the same day ( May 28th ~ 12:30pm ) for between 2-6pm. Taylor arrived around 3:30. It turned out I made procedural errors in attempting to program the remote to the door. Taylor then programmed the keypad properly so all devices to open the door were working properly. He also indicated the manual release of the door was NOT connected properly. He fixed this issue as well and installed the remote keypad. Taylor was exceptional in service and professionalism.

Trevor did an outstanding job! First he communicated with me before he arrived which made me very comfortable knowing who was coming. Second, he fully explained everything that he was going to assess the situation in order to give me options for estimates. After discussing all the options, I explained I would love to have one of them done but was unable to afford all the features offered. After discussing it, we decided I would eliminate some of the items and finally came to an agreement that would work. After that, my garage door opener was installed in an hour and I love it! Trevor was so personable and knowledgeable. He definitely is an asset to this company.

We called Precision because our door was originally installed by the company and we have always heard good things from other customers. Our techinian Tony told us, and more importantly, showed us, exactly what was wrong with our door's operation, and gave us detailed options about how to fix it. No high pressure, just explanation and facts (ideal presentation!). We replaced various parts and the remotes but the whole door itself didn't need replacement now. Not sure about exact description of all the parts, so picked just one from the list below.
